Itinerary
Begin your adventure with a 4×4 Jeep ride to the White Canyon, a stunning example of eroded sandstone filled with fine white sand. Hike for about 1 hour through its narrow winding paths that open to scenic desert plateaus and exit at the Ain Khudra Oasis.
Relax in this palm-shaded oasis with natural water springs. Enjoy traditional Bedouin tea and learn about the tribes who have lived here for over 1,000 years.
Drive approximately 40 minutes to see the Mushroom Rock, a fascinating natural rock formation in the middle of the desert. Spend about 20 minutes exploring and taking photos.
Head to a local Bedouin village for a delicious traditional lunch and a short rest.
After lunch, enjoy a 1-hour walk through the colorful Salama Canyon, known for its unique rock formations and tranquil paths.
Finish your journey with a visit to Inscription Rock, where ancient inscriptions and petroglyphs tell stories of the past. Then, return to Dahab around 4:00 PM.
